Chronic Bone and Joint infection in children is extremely rare in the UK, but very common in Malawi

are much more common and untreated than in the UK

Spinal TB is a cause of pain and paralysis

many congenital deformities can be effectively treated if caught early

club foot is common

and children's lives can be radically improved by early, effective simple treatment that can be performed by trained nurses

Complex birth deformities of legs are a challenging problem. Successful treatment will enable this child to walk
